Thermal performance: Hallmark vs Residor

A Hallmark Composite Door.

Our composite door collection has been carefully selected with thermal efficiency and energy-saving features in mind. We want our customers’ homes to retain a comfortable temperature all year round whilst they simultaneously save on their monthly energy bills.

Our Hallmark composite doors offer some of the best thermal performance on the market. Featuring a Polyurethane foam core that keeps the elements at bay, ensuring your home stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The Hallmark composite door is able to achieve energy ratings of A++ with U-values as low as 0.8 W/m2k.

Residor composite doors are pressure filled with a thermal insulating foam core to achieve incredibly low U-values of 1.3 W/m2k. This outstanding performance helps your home remain a comfortable temperature regardless of the exterior conditions. You’ll notice your monthly energy bills starting to decrease.

Home protection: Hallmark vs Residor

Both Hallmark and Residor composite doors feature a GRP skin that is wrapped around the door panel. It keeps your home protected by eliminating vulnerabilities within the door structure. Our composite doors are resistant to scratches, warping and rotting. You’ll never need to worry about your door becoming weak or losing its attractive finish.

a black composite door on a brick wallThe Hallmark composite doors feature high-quality multi-point locks as standard in order to firmly secure the door panel within the frame. Manufactured using the Winkhaus heritage security system, you’re able to customise your locking type to suit your preference. Whether you’d like an internal key, thumb turn, or a ring pull plate with a slam-shut operation, we have the perfect high-security option to keep your home and family safe.

Residor instead uses the market-leading Ultion lock to keep your home protected. When attacked your lock will go into a lockdown mode. The hidden lock within the Ultion will automatically engage so intruders are unable to gain entry even if they manage to snap the lock twice. The Ultion locking system features 11 multi-point pins whereas other available locks only feature 6. Manufactured with GRP skins as thick as 3.6mm compared to the 1.6mm skins used for alternatives.
